Standing at an impressive 23 inches tall, The NBA Cup is a striking fusion of gold and black—a nod to the rich history of the NBA's trophy lineage and a bold new addition to its array of accolades. Gold has long been associated with the highest standards of achievement in the league, while the black introduces a distinctive touch exclusively for the In-Season Tournament.
Crafted from sterling silver and coated in 24-karat gold vermeil complemented by black ceramic, the trophy exudes luxury and prestige. Its base is intricately adorned with net detailing, harmoniously blending elements from both the Eastern and Western Conference Championship Trophy bases. Underneath, the event logo of the NBA In-Season Tournament is prominently displayed, marking the trophy with the tournament's unique identity.
Honoring the Most Valuable Player
The tournament's Most Valuable Player will not go unrecognized, as they will be awarded the In-Season Tournament MVP Trophy. At 15 inches, the height of this trophy represents the 15 teams that make up each conference within the NBA. The dual stems of the trophy symbolize the final two teams contending for the championship title, encapsulating the competitive spirit of the tournament.
