Russell Westbrook, entering his 17th year in the NBA, joins the Nuggets after wrapping up a stint with the LA Clippers, where he averaged 11 points, five rebounds, and 4.5 assists in just over 22 minutes per game. Westbrook's Expected Role

"I think that people confuse intensity with competitiveness," he explained. "When I compete, when I'm on the floor, I don't want to be walking around shaking hands, kissing babies -- I don't really want to do that. I'm there to -- excuse my language, but, kick some ass."
Westbrookâs straightforward and unrelenting approach to basketball is synonymous with his name. "When I am competing, I want to compete at the highest level, and that part of me will never change as long as I'm competing in this game. And I'm grateful for the opportunity," he affirmed.
As the Nuggets gear up for their upcoming season, integrating a player of Westbrook's caliber and experience could prove to be the catalyst they need to ascend to greater heights.
